Highlights from Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour, London

I highly recommend this tour if you have an extra day when you visit London. If you are a Harry Potter fan, this is the real deal folks! This is not a Universal Studios remake. This are the actual sound stages, props, costumes, sets, and lighting they used for the movie!

When we got there, it was recommended that we not use flashes on our cameras for pictures. The tour is set up with the exact studio lighting that was used in the movie. She said if you don't use a flash, your pictures will be amazing. And she wasn't kidding!

The tour is more than just walking around and looking at the movie "stuff." They have demonstrations of how different set components were used, interactive/hands on opportunities, green screen broom rides, and wand lessons.

Of course we took advantage of the green screen and other touristy photos!

The coolest part was at the end. ** SPOILER ALERT ** Beware before scrolling for more. In the research I did on this tour, I didn't come across pictures or anything about the last section of the tour. If you want to be surprised, don't scroll down :)

You have been warned :)

They had the actual model of Hogwarts that was used for all of the filming in the movie. The model was HUGE. They had screens around it that you could interact with and they showed you how the filming of the castle was done and how they digitally imposed people "into" the castle. (While it was big - it wasn't life size). They also had the lighting in the room set up (again, the actual movie lighting) where it would rotate from day to night.
